A Mission Forged in Experience

I'easha's journey is more than a biography; it's a living mission statement. Holding an Associate’s in Addictions Counseling, a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and a Master’s in Social Work, I'easha brings a unique blend of lived experience and formal education to Self-Love1021. This empowers her to advocate for those facing co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges with unparalleled empathy and understanding.

Building Safe and Inclusive Spaces

Driven by a deep understanding of the importance of belonging, I'easha founded two 12-step meetings, creating safe, inclusive spaces, especially for marginalized communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals. The core message of Self-Love1021 is that individuals "didn’t need saved—I needed to feel worthy, loved, and accepted,” reframing healing as wholeness, belonging, and self-empowerment.

A Lifelong Commitment to Justice and Compassion

I'easha's professional journey through treatment centers, women's prisons, and state psychiatric hospitals reflects a lifelong commitment to justice, equity, and compassion. As someone who once sat in those waiting rooms and treatment groups, her authenticity and understanding are invaluable in guiding others toward recovery and self-discovery.
